Free Voice and Video Minutes on PokerSweepStars: How the Weekly 45 Works

Voice and video at the table is the feature people talk about most, so here is exactly how the free allowance works, with no surprises.

The short version

• 45 free minutes a week, every player, every table. No sign-up, no claiming, no button. It is just there.
• Minutes count only while you are connected. Sitting at a table with the mic off costs nothing. Joining voice starts the clock; leaving stops it.
• Resets every Monday. Midnight Pacific, same time for everyone. A push notification lets you know your minutes are back.

What you see

Under the Join Voice/Video button, before you tap it, your status is shown: 32:10 free, or Unlimited pass, or Unlimited at this table, or Free minutes used. Once you are connected on free minutes, a small countdown sits next to the mic and ticks down in real time.

At 10 minutes left you get a heads-up. At 2 minutes you get another. At zero, your mic and camera turn off and the table keeps playing; you are still in your seat, just not on the call.

When you run out

The moment your minutes hit zero, two options appear:

24-hour unlimited pass. Personal. Unlimited voice and video at any table for 24 hours from the moment you buy it.

Unlock this table for everyone. One purchase, and voice is unlimited for every player at that table for as long as the table runs. Anyone seated can do it, not just the host. This is the one regular home games tend to use: one person unlocks the table when they create it and nobody thinks about minutes again that night.

Things worth knowing

Does a table unlock use my free minutes? No. If the table is unlimited, nobody's minutes tick.

Does a pass stack with free minutes? A pass makes minutes irrelevant while it is active. Your free minutes are untouched for the rest of the week.

What if I disconnect? The clock stops within a minute of the connection dropping. You are never charged for time you were not on the call.

Can the minutes be adjusted? Support can add minutes to a player's week if something went wrong. The weekly amount itself is a platform setting; 45 is the number at launch.

Is any of this required to play? No. Voice and video are optional. Every table, tournament and training mode works exactly the same with them off.
